Hello everyone! Long time no post . . . If this has been discussed already I am sorry for the repeat.
I have been thinking of a theory based on the "Orchid" video over the summer and "Bad Twin"- the seemingly not so interesting book from the original LOST Exerience game. The Orchid video showed "Marvin Candle" about to discuss a secret effect of the island; while holding a white bunny- and suddenly an exact copy of the rabbit appears, everyone goes crazy because they supposedly can't see each other, etc.

What if Ben has been using the transportation device tested by DHARMA to travel and has accidently produced a double of himself? The tie in to "Bad Twin" is that if a doppelganger was created, then one Ben is bad and the other Ben is good. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doppelg%C3%A4nger

In the book, we are lead to believe that the good twin is looking for the bad twin, supposedly to save him from himself. We find out at the end of the book that it is the bad twin really looking for the good twin in order to destroy him and have all of the Widmore money. Could the existence of all the Widmore clues be simply to refer us to the "Bad Twin" book?

Perhaps other doppelgangers exist- Christian Shepard perhaps- each trying to find the good or bad twin to destroy it. This would also explain the existence of the polar bear in Tunisia, a doppelganger of the island bear, and other odd animals we have seen- all results of the "Orchid" machine.

That would be neat! Like half the people are working for "Good" Ben and the Other half working for the "Bad" Bed, and one is trying to Illiminate the other. To cool, we'll see what curve ball Lost throws our way
