A recent TV Guide contained set photos which showed Sayid and Desmond by an Oceanic plane. (I cannot scan this image as I threw out TV Guide by mistake LOL )

I am not sure if it is the front of the plane, where the pilot was found in the very first episode, or whether this is a new wreckage site. It could very well be the front of the plane, but I guess I am wondering why go back there??

And where did the empty seat passengers ever go from that section of the plane? Remember, in Season 1 we see a flashback where Shannon and Boone cannot upgrade to first class - flight is full. I am wondering if we are going to revisit this abandoned plotline - where are the bodies???

There definitely is. I remember seeing that now. And I don't remember seeing that in the Pilot episode.

I see it, but Im not sure its graffiti. It may just be fire/wreck damage, very hard to tell from the angle, but doesnt look like anything Ive ever seen

I'm not sure if it is graffiti either. It looks like it could be an identifying number on the plane, with leaves from the tree in front of it. I'm thinking maybe it's the front end wreckage from flight 815.

It almost looks photo shopped. Whatever that is doesn't seem to mesh with the parts of the plane around it.

The first time I saw it I thought that whole photo is photoshoped , just look at the aura surrounding the heads (zoom down) it's just unnatural and the lighting doesn't make sense , also the position of the actors is kinda not natural either if the clapping guys are facing the camera ... I don't know if this is fan made or TPTB made but my opinion is that it's not a real pic , btw TPTB already said explicitely in many of their podcasts since this season finale that they will be mixing cards and sending false info in a move to prevent what happoened with spoilered episodes this year ... I have not reason not to believe them



ETA : That scene with Sayid , Bernard and Desmond posing could've been taken literraly from last season finale , someone gotta check .

Well it can't be fan made as TV Guide used it in their magazine. I'd hope they would get genuine press release shots and NOT stuff from a fan site.

I don't recall them being by any wreckage in the finale manar though.....I'm pretty sure, also considering the content around the photo in the TV Guide article, it was a new shot.

I'm going out on a limb to say that it probably is a real shot from the set. Being a 'set shot' rather than an episode screencap means a few things:

1. The lighting could be way off since they are not filming yet.
2. The actors could be posed.
3. I am guessing that the original cockpit wreckage is long gone from the place it originally was filmed in Hawaii, and this pic looks more like a set pic. Could mean they either moved or recreated the wreckage in a sound stage.

The 'graffiti' we are seeing could be their attempt to put burn marks on the wreckage and in production it could be cleaned up to look very real.

Well if it's tvguide I suppose it's not fan made , but look at the lighting there and you'll see it's probably 99% photoshopped ... look how desmond has an aura on the back of his head the guy with the clap thing at the left has light shining out of the left side of his head , the one at the right has light reflecting out of his right arm , sayid is illuminated in the chest ... it's just doesn't make sense . Now if this a scanned version of the printed version of tvguide maybe those are glitches from the scanner , but I doubt it , it really looks like photoshop done well enough but still photoshop (maybe even tvguide did it ... hey it's not the first time they pretty up something , right ? )

As for the scene , I was talking about the pose from bernard , sayid and des , they could've had cut them out of a scene in the finale (it's just that this pose looks soooo like when they set up the others) and then pasted them on an appropriate background (the plane is very easy to do , just take any 777 plane pic and add blue and pink lines to it hehe) .


ETA : But if VM says so , I'd be inclinned to think TPTB are messing with us then , I don't think there is anyway they're giving us (or tvguide for that matter) the real thing so soon .

ETA2 : VM , totally not on topic , can you enhance the 101_004 image please ? lol , I'm close looking at it hey , and I'm seeing some stuff , was that a W and a 8 ? or am I just seeing pink elephants here ... this is turning me crazy
