I hope Les has not communicated with us because he is having such a good time.

I hope he is not kneeling at Pala Ferry with Tom pointing a gun at his head.

pssssst Les, the beard is fake.

I am sure that there is just too much to do in too little time, I hope Les has no hangover in the morning too.

Wow guys. All I can say is WOW. It was a great time.

For those that don't know, I worked with another site called "DarkUFO" on this event. His site is hugely popular, but is mostly known for being the first site for genuine SPOILERS. I'm not even a huge fan of spoilers, but I've always enjoyed his site. It's very thorough and well designed. So I emailed him a while ago, mentioned that I would be at the ComiCon and I would extend my services if he liked the idea. Together, we basically set up a live blog where myself (and other DarkUFO fans from SanDiego) could text in from our phones pictures and information real-time as it was happening.

Anyways, it was really exciting organizing and putting together this effort - something I'm definitely proud of. You can check out the whole thing at the link below. Obviously, there are spoilers, so if you don't like those, you'll want to stay away.

It's best if you start from the second page and work your way up (so that it reads chronologically).

I have some more pictures for you guys - I'll try to post them as soon as I can.

ETA: Oh yeah, my apologies on not updating you sooner. Once the panel started, I had to shut off my laptop.

Lots of pictures (sorry for the load time - they're pretty big...and they turned out terrible).

This is the San Diego Convention Center

I'm getting a sense at how big this thing actually is...

This is about an hour into the waiting. Keep in mind, I pre-registered and paid. This is just the line to pick up your badge!

I'm in!

Dear lord...this is the line to get into the Ballroom. Actually it looks worse than it was.

Tons of people

Where the madness will happen

Standard disclaimer.

The geniuses behind the show.

Darlton on the Jumbotron

Here's some video of the introduction:

My pleasure, VM! Hope to do it again next year.

By the way, I had a couple people walk by me, look at my shirt, notice the logo, slyly nod at me and say "Niiiiice".

I got a kick out of that.

Great job Les. Glad you had a good time. I went to a comic con once when I was in Sweden. Got to meet Robert Englund.
